Used this to install soffit vents cutting 96 holes in 2x lumber, even cut thru a few nails in the process and it is still brand new sharp. Most of the slugs just fall out.

Great product! We work with large size and thick-walled HDPE and PVC piping. The problem with using conventional bi-metal hole saws to make taps into the plastic pipes was it would melt the plastic and gum up the hole saw teeth and make it very difficult to remove the plastic cut-out coupon from the hole saw. You had to make the tap at a very, very low rpm to not create heat and melt the plastic which was time and money. The Blue Boar hole saws have tungsten carbide chisel teeth which cut and remove the cuttings quickly and easily without creating heat and melting the plastic. We will be ordering more for our other crews.
