I thought it was only drywall, but turns out I had to cut through drywall and plaster AND lath. All six came down with ease and I plan to use the same saw to cut more for the dining room and bedrooms.
Our company manufactures large storage tanks with FRP or fiber reinforced plastic and it is a very tough material. It was taking hours to cut holes for piping using high speed steel hole saws, so long that we mounted power drills on fork lift trucks to support the weight. With the Blue Boar stucco FRP hole cutters from Hole Pro we now cut these hole in a few minutes and after a year of use the hole cutters still cut perfectly.

I was on the fence about this tool, but oh my God, this tool is amazing! It is built incredibly well! Its a rock solid piece of equipment! I had to cut 30 ten inch holes in the lids of heavy duty totes. I flew through them in record time, amazed the whole time at this tool! I have bought a lot of tools over the years, I can't remember ever being happier with a tool! At 1st I thought I paid too much, now that I've used it I think they didn't charge enough! I don't think anybody would ever have any regrets with this tool.
Having tried the Bosch hole enlarger kit that takes only Bosch hole saws and where I need two hole saws for each hole I want to enlarge, I knew there had to be a better option. Found the Hole Pro kit and decided it was worth trying. Glad I did as it works very well and it is made to last.

Charlie Charlie about 7mm HSS Pilot Bit

My hole cutter has worked perfectly, but I understand if I twist a pilot bit off by hitting something stubborn, I’m out of business until I receive a new one. So this one’s just a spare. The unit works perfectly
When looking for a hole saw to cut through my stucco wall, I knew I did not want a bi-metal hole saw. After searching on Google, I found the Blue Boar stucco hole saws. I ended up buying both the 1" and the 3 1/2" which were the sizes I needed for my project.

The abrasive teeth quickly cut through the stucco. The ejection spring that is included with the hole saw easily popped the OSB out, that was behind the stucco.

I was very pleased with the quality of this hole saw.

Works great lasts for many holes. Thru fiber cement or cement backer board worked great on plaster and blue board

This cutter works great, cuts fast and accurate holes. For the price I don't think that it can be beat, fast shipping and good packaging.
saves you money on buying different size hole saws and has dust protector
Best hole saw I’ve ever owned. Easily cut 100 recess cans in so far with zero damage to the teeth. About 15 holes were cut through plaster and wire mesh. 30 holes cut with lath and plaster.

Excellent product for cutting holes.
I have used this numerous times it does a perfect job. Between jobs I clean it with plain water and dry for next use. It keeps it like brand new. Excellent product.
Cut through plaster and wood with no problem and did not lose its sharpness. Cuts perfect circles for 6 inch recessed lights.

Richard Richard about Hole Enlarger Tool Kit

Worked awesome for enlarging existing hole in drywall to install larger recessed lights. Clean cuts, highly recommend.
Very fast cutting hole saws and top performance with my 18 volt cordless drills. I no longer need my large angle drill or extension cords with these cutters.

Long life even with MDF and particle board materials like Advantech or plywood where bi-metal dull very quickly. I use them even
on Hardi board.

The arbor adapter seemed a little loose but then I realized that it did not affect performance of the hole cutters but made it a lot easier to remove them without needing a screw driver to pry them off.

Their brad point pilot bit has been handy for hard woods and plywood and does not dull quickly like the spade bits I was using before.

Carry case is top notch. Very strong and good latches so it does not open in the back of my truck. Survived a 4 foot fall onto concrete with no damage.
Great tool at a reasonable price. Works just as you would expect and better. Quality tool that should stand the test of time. Quality blow molded the case is well thought out and was a deciding factor in my purchase (a tool like this is worthless if you lose the pieces or spend more time looking for a piece than it takes to complete the job). Case has a place for everything including tools needed for adjustment, one set of blades for drywall and other abrasive materials and a second set of blades for non-abrasives (wood, plastic, rubber, etc..). As with any circle cutter I have used it is imperative to double check the cutting size and to make sure cutters are same distance from pilot/centering bit. MEASURE TWICE (or more) CUT ONCE!!! And you will be time ahead.
Used to cut holes in our ceiling for new recessed lighting. It worked like a charm - super clean holes. It does get dusty though, wear a mask if you don't have a dust shield.
I got this to make a lot of holes in 1/8 metal sheets, I use to do this with dewalt hole cutters, and the always jam and the center bit offenly brokens, this one from blue boar is very different, the make cut in a very diferent way, they do the cut clean and smooth, never jams and the sharp seems to be ok after a 200+ holes. very nice product.
Game changer. Very professional. As others have said, it hangs a bit when engaging into the drywall. Wipe down your shift before use and liberally use graphite on it before every session. Thanks to reviewer who said once you start, just keep on going. The few times I messed up was just from being apprehensive. With a good hole saw each 6 inch hole is about 5 seconds. Very little dust. Spring keeps the tray flush to ceiling. Do not walk the saw around at all. Just go straight in. Walking it will damage ceiling finish.

Love this thing. Won't be without it ever I hope. Until I get out of this trade and find something better to trade my time for!
No going back to the ole jigsaw..!!!
Great accuracy with well contained dust and dirt... perfect for the low profile LED's
